I'm going to check out a 75 gallon tank this weekend that I found on Craigslist. 48.5" x 18" x 21" tall. Comes with light (that I'm sure I'll have to replace), an oak stand, filter, heater, etc., all for $215. It would DEFINITELY be a big step up from my 36 gallon which I would probably break down and sell and then put all the current inhabitants in the 75 gallon. I see huge schools in my future 
For a tank of this size, will I need a powerhead or anything for circulation? I'm still pretty new at all this, and 75 gallons is a considerably large tank for me and means I'll have to start learning about external filters and sumps and all that rot.
Anyone have any good threads about starting up a larger tank or what you need for a complete external filter setup?
