My mother passed away 4 day's ago and i got all her fish, out of my whole family her and i are the only ones that got into fish and aqarium's. i had 4 tank's myself, 1- 90 gallon with 2 oscar's in it, a 45 gallon with 2 irridesent sharks and 2 bala shark's and 2 pictus cat fish, a 30 gallon that i breed fantail guppy's in a 20 gallon i have as a community tank which has 2 fantail gold fish, 1 gaumi, 2 neon's, 1 female beta, 2 silver dollar's and 2 balloon molly's.. and a 10 gallon that's divided into 4 inwhich hold's 4 male beta's.. Well needless to say i have never owed a knife fish and i was told by my brother he was not a clown knife fish nor a albino knife fish, he is whitish but with a silver tint to him, my brother say's he look's like a rainbow knife fish but when i look online for info i find nothing under rainbow knife fish, # 1 is he a rainbow knife fish or is there really even a rainbow knife fish lol # 2 what do knife fish eat? i been feeding him like my oscars with flake food and baby shrimp along with krill by wardley's dryed shrimp but i have noticed he has not been eating much, # 3 are they skidish fish cause when the light's on he hides but when the light goes out he comes out to roam his new tank.I am not even shure how old he is all i can tell you is he is about 5 to 6 inches long and moves like a fresh water eel....If anyone has any info on anything for knife fish i am all ear's and happy to listen for it will be a great help to me.. I also got from her 2 angel fish.. again never had them so let me no what you think of them, they are very small , smaller then a quarter but seem to be taking to there new surrendings very well as well as eating alot of flake food...
