the one store near me has had some decent quality hms lately. half dead, but decent quality when healed up. taking the baby and going to go have a look this afternoon. Id love to find a yellow or mg female. but we shall see.

did not find any girls that looked like they were not 1 mostly dead, 2 fairly ugly vts. did however find a lovely little hm mg male. it was kinda sad though, the deltas, hms and giants were all male, and I am guessing because they are more expensive, were the only ones that looked the least bit will cared for.


I may have to wait a few days to get a pic of the new guy, he is kinda shell shocked at having 5 gallons to swim around in and even a gentle filter. poor guy has it made and he is scared to death.

Such a shame that you have to trawl your way through half dead fish to find anything

that is the only local place that sells any tail type other then vt and ct. and if I want to breed and have something sellable it needs to be sd or better. I have yet to find females localy though. those are tough and the only other way to get good females is threw breeding or importing, which can cost close to a 80 per pair.
