So ah, I have a shrimp which I believe to be an Amano shrimp. When purchased a couple of weeks ago it was a ghostly white, after some time and demolishing a slice of cucumber yesterday it's now a quite interesting khaki colour. This is normal right?
I know this is probably a silly question, but well, it seems a bit odd.

Yes - some of mine are a delightful green sometimes :S and other times white or pinkish. Depends on what they have to eat I guess :)

OK, thankyou for the reassurance, I'm a bit of a fish hypochondriac, so I'm pleased he's alright. I might try him on some other foods and see what happens.
