How many Kribs can I keep in a 29 gallon. I read a pair should go in a 20, sooo. Other fish in the tank are 3 swordtail (I hear kribs eat livebearer fry!), 4 Rasboras, and maybe a Chinese Algae Eater and Cardinal Tetras (I can get rid of the CAE and the Cardinals are in another tank, and I would like to move them over, but dont need to.

Id be very carefull if your thinking of a male and female as in (a pair) as they can become very aggressive when spawning
My male and female bred in non ideal conditions, the male killed my lobster and cory, i would say any bottom dwellers would be at risk of being beaten or killed, thats my experience anyway

Other than that my 4 bala sharks survived all throughout the kribs raising the fry, and so did a few mollies and a pink kissing gourami
I noticed the male chased the corys a lot though so ye.....the bottom dwellers arnt so good thats if your getting a pair (male n female)

ok, so If I get them, then the CAE will have to go. I guess thats fine, since hes always messing up my gravel anyways.

I would say putting 2 pairs in that tank with nothing but themselves and a few dither fish is plausible.

2 pairs would be to many, the males would fight for breeding teratory. 1 pair and some dither fish such as neon rainbow (i have them and they get on very well with the krib) or some tertas, along the size of cardinals plus. Neons would be too small.

No it isnt. Providing there are enough caves, and some dither fish it is plausible, now if there is one or 2 caves, then it isnt plausible.
