Fish Herder
This is my new arrival....no photo quite does his wide array of colour justice yet.....but believe me I will keep snapping until it does.....when I got him home and held the bag in the sunlight I could have cried with joy.....in sunlight he's an overlay of purple pink and blue on a whiteish almost marbled backing.....gorgeous....under the tank light at most angles he's dark blue with a pinky/purpley sheen
So far in my community tank all is well....the neons are scared of him (even though he's not aggressive)......the danios....well to be honest a couple of females were hassling him and one i think was nipping so those 2 went back to the lfs today, leaving me with the two smaller females and the two males.....who have taken no interest in him at all....just kept out the way (they know the 'betta' male
....)
Before I put him in yesterday I also replanted mush of the tank to give him retreats....though he seems to like being eveywhere but in the shadows.....and does like to admire his reflection.....though I have not seen him flare up at all......he doesn't seem to like looking at himself when i place an actual mirror up and moves so it's no longer in sight...lol.....i think i possibly have the most placid betta ever, though he doesn't sit still for long unless getting air
