"Minimum Tank Size: 30 gallons"

i guess i need to forget about this fish, which nice fish would you recommand for me for my 10 gallon tank mate?

Honeslty, in my noob opinion with what you already have I personally would recommend 3-4 pygmy corydoras. I would wait for someone with more exp to give there opinion though, as I said before I'm new to this too.

i dont think that pygmy corydoras are preety really, i will tommorow get 2 more neons for sure so i will have a total of 5 , and i have a question, could i get anoth Platy or that would be too much? BTW I MIXED UP, i do NOT have 2 mollys, i just have 1 molly, 1 platy and 3 neons, ill have 5 neons tommorow, can i get another platy or that would be too much and will be too much poop?

i bought like 2 mollys and 2 sword fish,
oh and i have another question, 2 of my swordtails seems to be less active lately, what could be the problem?

so did your swordtails die? don't add any more fish right now! i think your tank has not finished cycling, i would give it several weeks before you attempt to add anything else. and you really really need to find a way to test your water parameters.
until your tank has finished cycling (which you say it has, but without water testing you have no way of being sure) your fish will just continue to get sick and die! so please, please don't add anymore fish for a while.
i'm sure you don't want to cause them any more suffering, and there is also the cost factor. its very expensive to have to keep going out and buying new fish because your old ones die regularly.

they didnt die i returned them to the store because they were just sitting on the gravel for some reason.

even so i still would hold off on buying more for a little while. they are showing signs of not being healthy and as you have not checked the ammonia or nitrite levels they could still be very high. just be patient and give it a little time. your fish will be happier in the long run.

i cant get water stats atm, can u answr my other questions please
and i know you said you don't buy off the internet, but if you can't get a test kit in any of the LFS near you maybe you could do a phone order? you really do need to be able to check your water parameters

i will take water to petland today and they will check for me for free, i did it before, if the ammonia or anythig else is too high i need to change 25% of my water yea? and ok i wont get any fish i will just get 2 more neons so they feel more secure and happy, i will put a algae wafer for them to nibble on too. btw they did eat flakes this morning so im happy about that. ill let you know how it went today in the evening when im back from petland.

cheers.

in the same sentence you say ok i won't get any other fish, then you say i will get 2 neons.
Although the neons will feel more secure in a larger group it is MUCH more important that your water quality is good enough. get the petshop to test your water, but if it shows ANY ammonia or nitrite DONT BUY ANYMORE FISH! not even 2 more neons as if that is the case you are still cycling. if the water stats are good then you can consider getting the 2 neons.

if any of the stats are off then yes carry out a 25% water change as soon as possible.

but does petland not sell test kits? they recommend having them on the petland website?

if they do you really should get 1 as it is much better to be able to test your own water, especially if you are doing a fish in cycle. you really need to be testing daily!

mo i cant buy a test kit atm, i will test the water today at petland

If you can't afford the test kit then surely you can't afford the fish, put the money you were going to spend on the fish to one side and invest in a test kit.

Do not buy any more fish, test the water.

Very good advice...we'll see if you'll take it.

What are your water parameters?
