I have a pair of 3 spot gouramis in my 55 gallon tank, and lately the male has taken to hiding out with the corys. They are sister and brother from a batch I raised myself and are the complete opposite in disposition from their parents.
Big Blue was a mean gourami, and the (now) Merry Widow spent a good part of her life running from him or hiding in the plants, which is often the way of gouramis. But with these two, the female is the aggressive one and her brother has been the one running.
