Odd Behaviour? Or Normal?

okay so i have my first pair of blue rams [male and female] yesterday and they are doing really well! I love them!

but when i came home i saw that the female had dug a perfect hole on the sand by moving her body accross the sand...and now ive caught the male doing it just now

Ive been looking online about this but i can find anything!

could anyone tell me whats going on?

I can take pictures if no one knows what i mean! lol

I completely agree. I also have a video of mine doing the exact same thing. Eggs were laid within 24 hours of the digging.
