Octozin - Dosing Methods

I've purchased some octozin, and I have seen the instructions say that it should be dosed by putting the tablet straight into the tank, but I was wondering if it's possiblty to dose it in a similar way to flubinol 15, by disolving the tablets in a jug of water first then spreading around the tank. I though this might get it into the fish quicker?
Any ideas? Has anybody done this before?

Yes do it in a jug they take ages to dissolve in the tank.
