Maybe I've just overlooked a topic (pinned or not), but I can't seem to find anything that will tell me definite signs of what to look for in a pregnant Molly.

About a week ago, I added a single male and a single female to my community tank which already housed a female. Almost immedately after release, the male molly took keen interest in the female Molly. (See post here: My Previous Post)

From the reply I got to my post, I thought the two were mating. After a day or two, the Male's interest seemed to died down, though occassionally he will chase after her again...long enough to rub his head against her belly and then he just swims away. Almost like he sees, smells or feels something and just takes off.

In the mean time, my Orange Sailfin (Pictured In This Topic) has appeared to get a bit more plump. I can't remember honestly if she was always as plump as she is, but I can tell you for SURE that she's more plump than the other female Molly (thought it might be the breed?)

Also, if you stare long enough at the female - and she'll hold still long enough - you can see, on her stomach (which is white) a small, extremely light gray spot. I can't seem to get her to hold still long enough to really pinpoint it and see if it's a gravid spot, or if it's just a marking I may have missed.

If anyone that has experience mating Mollies could you be so kind as to point out exactly what I should be looking for to tell if / when my Mollies are pregnant?
