O.o What Are You Little Hairs?

just checking my tank and in the corner theres like very small wispy hairs, i think its algae as i have two plants in there and havent notest anything until now, ive got an algue sponge but do i need to invest in a magnet? i also have 2 bronze cory babys well 3/4-1"

they are like tiny like 1/8 mm but are white as far as i can tell and look abit like dust they came of with my sponge so meh..

ive also seen my new 3/4" bronze cory look like it was nibling at some on the glass pane

bump and ive notest it on the mopani wood but its like a mm or 2 in some parts

If it is spreading, then it is an algae or bacteria. I can't tell you myself what it is, but I can confirm it

i dont think its bactirial, i think its algae ive got plants, quite bright light ive seen one of my corys eat it, and it cam of with the sponge, ill find a tooth brush to get ti off the wood...

i had something like this, i agree and think its algae. You'll know if it starts collecting on plants/anything in your tank that the flow of water passes. Also, look at your filter wool this will go green too!

hmm that would explain why my filter media is getting full quickly on well nout i can do really for two months, then ill get soem otos and clean shrimp etc. when i move the plants and wood to the next tank can i give them a tap wash? to get off as much of the spores?
