O No To Much Ammonia

i poured 1/4th of a cup of pure ammonia and my tank turned cloudy cloudy white,will this kill my plants? did i add to much,.should i do a water change,i am freaking out help would be very nice

how much do you normally dose? just do a massive water change, It may cause algae but it won't harm the plants.
