Nya, Ha, Ha

Well black widow tetras were my first fish and they cycled my 10g and are still alive today and I find angels to be very cool looking and majestic so thats why I suggest them.

It's a nice looking tank, OohFeeshy

Stoopid question time, but what does vinegar help with?

Vinegar loosens and removes hard water marks from the glass, Sp00ky :D

*poke, poke* oi, feeshy! you alive in there? :p

tank looks good... 12 wide really isn't bad; you can actually get a fair amount of stuff going on in there. mine's a 48x12x24; except for the stoobid depth giving me trouble with growing plants, i've really liked it for my smaller fishys.

i'm telling you... river-tank! getting the glass for free means you've got the extra cash available for powerheads. :hey:

Yup, specially as the previous owner kept and bred shell dwellers in it, meaning the water was probably very hard, meaning acid is going to be handy at getting it off

Oh I kno, my other tanks are only 12" wide. It just seems really stupid having a 4ft length then putting a 12" width on it....

Mhm, mebbe... I was thinking, in keeping with the current 'i'm a cheapskate, get me out of here' theme doing a tank diary and limiting the budget to £40-50 including fish :) But possibly not... I need to actually get the tank put somewhere, then take a walk around some lfs's. And measure the boxy thing as I was thinking of putting a pair of endlers in it for an extra cash generator.
