Last night when feeding my fish I noticed that I was missing one black neon tetra (only have 2). I figured he was hiding or he did the disappearing tetra act. When i woke up this morning, I was searching for platy fry when I found my missing tetra. He was stuck behind the nutrafin ladder and the glass. He seams to be ok now but here is a question for you all. Have you ran into a similar issue with a fish getting stuck behind it, any suggestions for a "fix" in case this happens again?

it can be common problem, the solution is to puch the ladder on as tight as you can, and hope that works. You could also get a sponge a place that at the top and bottom. Be careful not to block/ distrupt the flow of CO2 bubbles though.

Oh yes, we had that problem cept the fish in question for us was a big fat female betta. I have NO idea how she squeazed her big butt in to that little hole in the bottom, but she did... TWICE.
You know those suction cups that are used to hold tubing in place? I used one of the little plastic holding thing from one of those at the bottom to sorta cover the hole without blocking it completely, and that did the trick.
