just set it up, cleaned the ladder really well. but all the bubbles are collecting on the bottom step as one big bubble then when its to big it just goes to the top in one big bubble and instead of running up the ladder

now getting to third level sometimes but still collect on bottom step and go to surface in a big bubble.
is there anything i can do?

Nah, in a few hours it will clear up.

Also, may i suggest swapping the ladder for a nano diffuser from AE?

I did it and it was much better

Yeah mine took longer than that to clear

give it a couple of days and it will be fine. happened to me too.

im guessing its the build up of algae that makes it a smooth run up the whole ladder
