I'd like it if anyone could tell me whether it would be do any damage to my cycle to use it? Sorry to post it twice but I don't want to risk the stuff going off before I use it.

I don't think it will harm anything, also it most likely won't do much good either. If you can return it for store credit I would and get something more useful such a dechlorinater, filter fiber, melefix is always good to have on hand, there are many things that are more useful.

I don't believe it will impact your cycle negatively. There's a lot of question if it does any good, though.

If you want a bottled additive like that add StressZyme. Obviously the bacteria isn't all alive and when you add it, it wont really impact the cycling, but it adds enzymes and other goodies.

In most people's opinion, including mine, products such as Cycle, Stress Zyme and other bateria in a bottle products are useless and don't have any impact on cycling your tank. The only products that seem to work are products that are kept refrigerated at all times such as Bio Spira (US) and Bactinetes (UK).
