Hi

I have been reading some of the information people have added regarding the Nutrafin Co2 units and have decided to try adding yeast to the unit rather than the packets. Yes great lots of bubbles started but as well as more bubbles the water became extremely cloudy. any idea on why this would have occured or how to stop it clouding the water in the future.

The cloudy water only took half a day to go, filter is pretty good. I will also be adding another unit shortly to get more Co2 added.

Thanks
Dave

Sounds like you've overfilled the water in the canister. Your extra yeast may have frothed so much as to leak into the hosing and into your tank water. Was there any signs of white residue in the hosing and diffuser?

Try filling to an inch or so below the line next time.
