Hi guys,

Thinking of buying one of these for my 21 gallon. It is advertised to be good for anything up to 20 gallons so should it be ok in my 21 gallon? And also can the canister sit in the cabinet below my aquarium? Will the pressure of the c02 force it up the tubing? And also in the pinnned thread it says to aim for 30 ppm. How do you set it to 30 ppm? is 30 ppm 30 bubbles per minute?

By the way i am going to be using the method in the pinned thread not using the stabiliser and activator packets.

Thanks.

you would be better of with 2, changing one at the weekend and one mid week for a more constant & stable supply.
Put it below the aquarium.
30ppm (parts per million) - you cant really aim for a set target with fermentation kits due to their fluctuations & also you may need more than 2 kits to reach this level. Again a set amount of bubbles per mintue can not be done for the same reasons as the mixtures dies down everyday until it stops.

to measure CO2 we use a drop checker filled with 4dkh solution.
