ok here's the story, I set up a 15gal tank a few weeks ago it was supposed to be for the guppy babies I waited until all the parameter's where ok, I was going to tranfer the fry into that but 2 african dwarf frogs caught my eye so I bought them, my hubby came home with 2 gormai's and some other fish, one gorami was getting bullied big time (fins ripped etc) so I rescued that and put it in my other tank where it proceeded to bully my red gorami, so it is still in the tank but in a seperation chamber, obviously I can't keep it in there for good but what do I do now my lfs won't take it back, I don't know anyone else who has tropical fish so now what? what can I do with him/her I haven't got anymore spare tanks so please help :(

well some people mite suggest that u kill it. but i wouldn't, maybe u can get a tank separater.
No one that I know on this forum. Phone round all the pet shops and LFS's in your area and ask somebody to take this fish. In the meantime, put a plastic fish bag with the top rolled down into the tank, as a temporary separator (ask your LFS for one if you haven't got one in the house).

It is highly unlikely your LFS won't take the fish back, especially if you stand your ground. It was they that mislead you about it's incompatability with your tank in the first place! Just stand in the middle of the shop with your fish, looking like you might make a scene, until they take the fish back. The harder they fight, the more black marks you put against their name for your future fish purchases.

I agree with Anna, don't even ask the LFS, just bring the fish in....hand it to them and walk out
