I'm sorry if I'm being a pest, but I just couldn't let this go. I found the Baytril 100mg/ml injectable. You would have to get a script from your vet, and it's probably more than you want to spend. $53.19 for a 20ml bottle. the injectable is for horses and cows. If you are interested, it is at PetCareRx.

You're defo not being a pest with all this helpful info. I'll see if my vet will write me up a script.

Thats a lot of cash to treat a couple of fish. I'd probably see how it goes over time with water changes, if no improvement then off with their heads and restock with the saved monies! :D

You are mean. We all know this.

However, I'm not going to spend that kind of money on medications again. I lost yet another trili tonight and I only have one left. The greens and the peppers seem to be unaffected by all this, and they're the ones that laid a gazillion eggs the other day, so I'm going to worry less and enjoy the fish more, like watching one of the greens stuff her face into the substrate up to her eyeballs!
