Hi Wilder... I'm sure it will be you who answers so I will address this to you...

You have been helping me with my sick (now dead) krib with the internal bacterial infection.

Well today and yesterday 1 of my Bolivian rams seems very quiet, she has no external symptoms and isn't lethargic or anything just quiet. I was just wondering...

1) Can she start showing symptoms of an illness caught from the Krib when the Krib has been out of the tank for over a week?
2) If the internal bacteria was spreading would it knock out my fish 1 by 1 or would they all just get it at the same time?
3) Should I treat the whole tank with an antibacterial just to be safe?

Thanks as always for all your help!

Is this the tank that you thought might have internal parasites.
As internal parasites can spread and also cause bacterial infections.
Have you used the wormer plus yet.

I haven't used the wormer yet as i have to finish the meds in my QT so I can move my frogs and shrimp before worming. I think it may just be me being paranoid as the bolivian seems to have livened up a bit this afternoon and is eating!

I will worm next week and hopefully that will sort all my problems.

Thanks again!

Bacterial infection can pass on through cuts and wounds.
Just keep on eye on the ram.
Good luck.
