Ok so I have been wanting to get rid of my Cichlid population but not this way. In the past few days I have lost about 5-6 fish. Only sign I seen is sunken in belly, and red swollen anus.... Fish will act fine then the next morning I will either find a dead one or one just laying on the bottom about to die. I treated with Prazipro yesterday after a 50% water change. So far I havent lost any today. I havent had any problem in my tank within the last 6 or so months, Just some alge growing because of a new light, I dont see the alge harming the fish. Water stats are perfect all reading zero. I havent added any new fish in the past 8 months. The ones Ive lost was my female yellow lab, 4 of her babys, and my ugly brown one. Their coloration is all good, no other signs.
I have 5 tiger barbs, 2 raphael cats, and 3 baby cichlids and 2 adults left. I really dont want to lose another fish, any help is greatly appriciated. Thanks ahead of time!!
