I bought 2 angels about 3-4 weeks ago and put them in my 130L tank. The other inhabitants are 6 zebra danios, 6 glowlight tetras, 3 guppies and 2 bristlenose plecs. All fish get on perfectly well and i havent noticed any picking on one another. Tank readings are:
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 40
pH: 8.0

I'm not sure if this is a problem or not. On each angel, one of their lower fins looks like it is damaged. On the first pic you can see that it looks like the bottom bit is broken and may fall off. In the second pic, the other angel has a tiny white fluffy bit in the same sort of place. Now i know they must be ok with the tank conditions as one of the angels spawned 5 days ago, but the eggs were eaten by the other angel. They do sometimes try and peck each other - not sure if i have 2 females or 1 male and 1 female - so not sure if this is courtship or not. Anyone have any ideas? I am keen to let things run there course. No other probelms with any other fish

Fungus can grow on dead tissue.
Have the angels been fighting.

I wouldnt say they had been fighting. I think i will just leave them to it, and if it gets worse what should i med with? I'm not a big fan of the interpet anti-fungus med as i dont really think it does anything. Would myaxin be better?

I would just go in with some pimafix for now.
If no improvement in say three days add myxazin as well.
I never had much luck with interpet meds, but some say there good.

Will the pimafix get rid of the fungus? Will this have any adverse affects on the other tank inhabitants - i am mainly concerned about the baby bristlenoses.
