my female endler is swimming normally feeding fine but her gills are going ten to the dozen and shes resting on the top of the filter
now shes heavily pregnant and my water stats are normall no other fish are affected even the other endlers but i dont know whats going on
any ideas if i should be worried

is she pale and stressed.
Could be she about to give birth.
What do her gills look like.

her gills are fine they arnt red or anything just going like the clappers and shes sulking lol having a rest on top of the filter now and again
she could be having or about to have her fry i suppose just wanted to check

shes fine now swimming about as normall gill rates fine to
dont know if she dropped in the night as theres that many endler fry in the tank lol i dont know whos had what sos to speak

You can tell if they have had the fry the go thinner after giving birth.
If she still looks pregnant she might not having finished yet giving birth.
Glad she back to normal.

cheers wilder she still looks massive but isnt hideing away on her own now
maybe she might drop a couple more yet if thats the case i was just worried about her rapid breathing is that usuall when giving birth?

Not sure if i'm honest, all I know is that I panted when giving birth lol.
Contact member steady his livebearers are always giving birth and he knows alot about it.
