Well, I got a bit ahead of myself, and set up my CO2 system and tank before I have any plants! Anyway, they won't be here until friday of next week. Is it safe to just leave it as is? Should I close the CO2 Tank valve?

I don't just want to run it all week, and grow a bunch of algea...

Thanks guys!

Should be fine but don't turn the lights on till the plants arrive or you'll probably end up with an algae bloom. To save CO2 I'd turn it off as there is no point having it on at the moment.

Running it wont do much but waste the CO2! What it does do is give you time to sort out the level and make sure its at a stable 30ppm. Might as well use the time and Co2 while you've got the opportunity, then its ready for adding the plants and turning on the light :)
