already in the tank we have 2 female swordtails [one is a cross between something else i think] 2 pregnant guppies and today we perchased 2 male mollys

the males were fine swimming arond the tank together until one went near the swordtails and they started to fight and nip at each other...
is there a way to prevent this? [plus will they cross breed:|, i dont reallt mind but ive heard its not healthy?]

plus my 2 pregnant guppies are always together no matter what but they start fighting too! they nip and chase each other, is it because theere needs to be more of them?

am i over reacting or is there something deeper here?!

thanks again!

MAJOR EDIT: they all seem to have calmed down now but my white male molly likes to swim along side the black and white one and sort of nip at his anal fin constantly, and he doesnt seem to mind....whats going on!?

If you have a question about breeding fish try PMing Ludwig venter he is a big breeder of liverbearers

they have both started to do it now, its like theyre joined at the hip but either get a bit fruity with each other or get annoyed!

okay ill try and get it sorted!

just as another solution though would it be feasable to get some females for them?
