Not Eating?!

I bought a swordtail the other day and it doesn't seem to be eating anything? What should i do?

hi there. what are you feeding? perhaps try something else? bloodworm, daphnia something like that. what else is in your tank??

Aquarian tropical fish flakes. 4 black widow tetras, getting more though. I'll try that out

5 tetras.

yeah give it a go. sometimes they just need a tasty treat to start them off then they will take the flake. do you find there is competition for food? give the alternative food a try. good luck.

my swardtails like plec waffers they go mad for it worth a try as the dont eat flakes in my tank lol,
