I'm using tetracycline in our 10gal tank atm, and I'm a bit confused on the directions. It says to add 1 packet first.. did that. Then repeat 24hrs later. Did that.
Then it says after another 24hrs to do a 25% water change and then to repeat steps 1 and 2.
Does that mean right after the water change? Or wait another 24hrs after the water change to add in more?

Oh and is it normal for it to get so foamy on top w/ tetracycline powder? I've used tetracycline tablets before and it never got like this.
The filter and the air stone bubbles is causing a foam up top, then a purple and yellow color starts appearing on the foam o_O

Only part on this i can answer is, you can repeat steps 1 and 2 astraight after the water change, the rest of foamy stuff i do not know, so maybe someone else can answer that part for you :)

Thanks a bunch. That's what I figured, but I needed to make sure before I dumped more meds in heh.

No harm in been cautious m8 :)

Just on that foam part you was on about, when i treated my tank with white spot, my air bubble from my stone went very froffy, and stayed like that for a couple of days and did the same when i treated again, but soon cleared out after a couple of days.. maybe meds cause this to happen on the air bubbles

Get a second opinion but i dont think its nothing to worry about...

If you have a internal filter and the surface of the water is agitated enough, you can actually turn off the air pump, it wont harm it :)

Well the filter is causing foam too :p heh
And it's a divided tank so need the air stone on the side that doesn't have the filter.
Anywho... the foam doesn't appear to be causing any problems.. it's just kinda gross and weird to see :p
