I'm not new either! Do you really have to wait for a few thousand posts? I was hoping to change my "title" after 1000.

Not 100% sure. I reached 1500 over a year ago, and I believe that was the number to reach back then. However, there's a new format, so you should probably check out the suggestions forum/ posting the question yourself if you cannot find the answer. Maybe there isn't a limit... go to your control panel and see if you have the option.
