Not A Fish

I have some shrimp with my platys, I know there not a fish but there still neat to watch! WIll they eat the baby fry thou?

What kind of shrimp?

ammo or amano, some thing of the sorts I can check tommrow. They kinda remind me of ghost shrimp but they arent.

Well, most shrimp are opportunistic feeders. I would guess that if they could catch the fry, they might possibly eat them. Since both of these inhabitants are likely to spend time on the bottom of the tank, chances are high for an encounter. I don't know if the fry will know to swim away from the shrimp.

Amano shrimp will be fine. They are very peaceful and usually eat algae and leftover fish food. They will only eat the fry if you are starving them, and even then it would be difficult for them .
