i thought i'd just say that due to the circumstaces.... it looks like i may not be able to get a Siamese fighting fish! This has occured because foolishly i bought 3 sharks, 1 rtbs, 1 ruby shark and 1 silver shark. My silver shark is not a problem but my rtbs seems to dislike my ruby shark immensly! for..... obvious reasons.

Anyway... because of this i have to transfer my ruby shark to my new tank..(hexagon, 5 gal i think) which as i know rules out any chance of me getting a betta.
Just thought i'd share my dispair! :( :-(
I wish they'd just get along......

You can always buy an additional 2 gallon tank to keep a betta in. Maybe not today but perhaps in the future. All hope is not lost. :)

thanks for that.... good idea
but ill have to wait.... im guessin theres no way that a ruby shark n betta can be kept together........ unless i do get rid of the ruby.........
i duno

yeah, get rid of the shark. 5 gallons is way to small for it, and it minght get stunted and die. Then you can have a betta.

Probably not. I amnot certain though, but from what I do know about the "sharks" I do know about, many are not rreally suited to a 5 gallon ttank, by themselves or with another fish. Again, hopefully someone who knows your particular sharks will let you know for sure. But it's my experience that mostly sharks aren't good for smaller tanks.
