Noooo They Nearly Had It!

my male and female betta wer spawning!!

only thing is the male never took any notice of the eggs and then when the female recovered from her paralysis, she just swam up and ate the eggs!!!!

is this just normal for a first spawn??

Do you have any eggs left?

The spawning can go on for hours, so he might get the idea after a few squeezes

Our female scoffed a load of eggs at first until the male beat her to them and put them in his nest.

i only just introduced her about 10mins ago lol

he beat her to sum but i didn't see if he put them up in the nest lol, i think he was either looking for more or he had scoffed them loL!

i guess i'll see if he has put any up in a few days!

hope he gets some put up there!!!

LOL, he can collect quite a few at a time so hopefully you'll get some. Are they still spawning or is she cowering in a corner somewhere?
