It's terrible! my main guppy tank is loosing females, 3 have died in the last two days !

I just lost the last female over night. a few have white fungus, and i've gave them melafix and quick cure but nothing is helping! and there is something else hurting them too besides white fungus, some of the didn't have it.

i re-did there water but 2of them i seperated because they were sick. i think i have a white fungus and ick invasion. what do i do to make it stop!?

melafix and quick cure isn't working!

also, i have 3 dwarf puffers in my old puffer tank, it cycled for a long time and it's a good puffer tank now. the other two look great, they love hiding in the big plant. anyway, one of them is not swimming well. he is in a small container with an air pump to keep him moving.

what do i do?? it's not been a good week

Go to the fish store test out your water, until then i guess id reccomend you do 20% water changes every 2-3 days i guess because it would help stabalize the tank.

But im no expert, however doing a water test wont hurt.

Columnaris often looks like fungus, and is more common. I would treat with Maracyn & Maracyn II.

Posting the results of water tests, along with a picture would help.

Are all the females from the same strain.. (not yellow with a orange tail by any chance) i only ask as this condition attacked my wifes, Looked like saddle back Columnaris but ONLY efected this strain and only after giving birth when their immune system was at its most vunerable "all others including the fry have showed no signs in 4 weeks" and we did loose 3 of the said females and non of the popular treatments helped (myaxin did cure the fungus on one but the sore underneath was to much on one of them that she was despatched).

I put this down to a poor strain (maybies from over breeding) as it soley developed on females of this strain of guppy.
