Non Jumpers

I have just started my marine tank,I have a Arcadia luminaire over a panoramic 120 bow fronted tank,I have taken off the top but I fancy a blenny or goby when I begin to stock,but reading about them they all seem good jumpers,are they likely to jump out of my tank,I can't put any top on because of the luminaire,are there any that don't jump

I've heard of people using eggcrate and having it cut to fit the top of their tank. It has small holes so the light can get through, but small enough so hopefully no fish can jump out.

Agreed, egg-crate will save the day here

I purposely tried to avoid jumpers and keep the top of my tank open in order to make maintenance easy and regulate temperature. My best efforts were foiled within one week of getting a wrasse when I found it hanging out under the filter pump in the filter compartment. In creating an egg-crate cover, I cut it in two sections so I have an easy piece to lift out at the front of the tank for feeding and simple maintenance. Having debated over the issue many times, I'm much happier now with the cover to keep the fish in and cats out.
