Non-hermaphrodite Snails And Betta

I was thinking an apple snail for our 10 gallon tank (see signature) that has sand as a substrate. We're gonna put kuhli loaches and a betta in there. It seems a predator of the apple snail is the betta, as says http/www.applesnail.net

So, does anyone know know of a snail that (1) won't reproduce on its own, and (2) that won't get eaten with our betta/kuhlis?

Perhaps I should post this in the betta section.

I got a female fighter in with a apple snail, and it has some baby apple snails in with it. Not a problem. If that helps
