Hi fish doods!!
Right I got my 2nd tank.
Started with gravel in it. put a few plants in & drops of ammonia. Filter on & lamps comes on 12 hrs a day.
So started the cycling about a week & a half ago.
Still the ammonia remains @ 4 ppm it hasnt moved at all.
anyways that is my 1st problem.. why is nothing happening!
2nd infestation of snails now from the plants lol #### - so contributing to the ammonia no doubt.
now I see today very thin white small worms swimming around in the water. <, where did these come from & #### are they ??
Are they hazardous in my tank?
What suggestions you got to cure my problems. Oh also the filter now has sucked in baby snails & eggs so in my filter are snails crawling around lol so are they eating bacteria which should process the ammonia?
I presume water changes & remove snails? and clean filter & start cycling from start again
....sigh!!
