I am setting up a 200l jusngle style tank i have most of the equiptment but am still waiting for the tank to be built and to buy a couple of other items.

One of witch is the light tubes, as plants i will use(moss, Crypts and Echinodorus) arn't too demanding on light. i want to use some tubes that dont give off a bright light. I would like the tank to look quite dark and murky. I have the lighting for a 25w t8 unit a aqua glo tube. I also have a Interpet twin 36w compact T5 unit

I would like to know what is the best option for my t5 unit either Interpet Triplus or some from here I feel these are more likey to give me type of light i want but am usureas i don't know to much about the difference of a 10000k and 4000k and warm and cool white. If you think from the second option which would be best, 4000k cool white, 3500k warm white etc.

I'll also be having some of the base open and don't know if to go for a standard play sand or to have black sand.

Please give any advice or experiences.
