Noma Rope Lights

I bought a Noma LED Rope Light and was wondering if I could use it as a moonlight?

I take it your on about christmas lights type thing, i dont see why noe as long as there sealed and the electrical side is away from water (common sence realy)

Wont they be a bit bright though.

I got the same response in another forum.

I should of been more accurate, but I was just looking for a quick answer.

I have moonlights I bought off Ebay for several of my tanks, and yes, they are dimly lit compared to what the Noma Rope Light would of done.

I just thought I'd try it more for the odd bright light display at night, every now and again, not as my main moonlighting system.

Ah well, it was just a thought, I brought the Rope Light back already. LoL
