Noisy Cannister Filters

I have a jebo cannister filter and it makes squishy sounds, these are quite loud and it really sounds as if there is a large amount of air in the filter and the input pipe is breaking the surface

any ideas on how to fix this?

my jebo does this sometimes, normerly after a stop and restart.

I disconect the pipe that goes backinto the tank and place the end into a bucket
lower it below the head of the filter and start it up, once the air is cleared (may take a bucket or two)
I shut off the tap and turn off filter.
then just re attach the pipe back into tank, top it up and restart the filter.
