No More Bubbles

My only male betta I have has stopped making bubble nests. I've had him for over a year and he use to make bubble nests but in the last 2 months he's stopped. He lives in the 3 gallon tank with a heater but he doesn't have a light. Any idea why he's stopped?

He just may not be in the mood anymore. There's a certain time when males and females are too old to breed, so he may have reached that age. You could try doing a water change and see if that stimulates him to do anything.
