No Emergency - Already Doa

Got home from work to find my lovely Betta dead on the substrate of the tank with all his makes trying to wake him up....

Had him from the start. Best personality out of all of them...



Ho hum

His belly was extremely distended - classic pine-coneing all over. I saw no signs of this so must have come on very quickly. For sure it is dropsy but need confrmation (when I get my bloody camera to work). Will post a pic up of him for further confirmation if that is OK...

sorry about your betta andy. pics may help but as he had dropsy then internal infection can take fish quite quickly

I'm so sorry about your Betta, Andy. I love our beautiful guy and would be crushed if he died. I'm curious...you had more than one in the tank? I was under the impression they'd fight. Thanks! Susan
