No Algae

hey I've been running a tank for 2 and a half to 3 months now and no algae has shown up yet. Is this normal? or am I doing something wrong?

What are your water params, lighting, stocking levels....etc

Think they mean your tank stats, pH, NO2/3 NH3, PO4, KH and GH. Lighting tends to mean how many watts do you have over the tank?
