ok I'm not a chemist,

I picked up some nitro+ by kent (botonical)

it basically says 9 drops for 1 ml solution, 1 ml = 44.2 mg of nitrate

and I want to keep adding to establish 1-2.25 mg/l

the begginer section says to start with 1 to 5 ml per 10 us gallons and monitor

well I started with 5ml in my 20 gallon since I have a deficiency of nitrate (between0-5 ppm without dosing)
and lots of fast growers
let thing settle for a day and took a new reading today

this has brought me to 30ppm of nitrate ( a little high)

does this sound right or are my plants not consuming the nitrate at the normal rate or did I overdose or maybe my maths all wrong

is it 1mg/l = 1 ppm

and since I have 75 liters
its 44.2mh/75l

or 0.589mg/l

I will be retesting without dosing in 24 hours to find out where I'm at
