I have high Nitrites and was wondering if there is anything I can add to the tank to help bring them down besides salt. Ive got to get this under control. Ive been doing 25% water changes every 4-6 hours. Fish are fine and show no signs of stress or diesease. They want to eat really bad, but I havent been feeding them since early yesterday.

Current fish:

30 US Gallon tank

Platty, Cories, Danios, Neons, YoYo Loaches

Thanks

There are products that will remove nitrite but they also affect the cycling process of the tank so you become dependent on them. Once you stop using them, you are back at the same spot with an uncycled tank. Keep up the water changes and withholding food. They can easily go 2 or 3 days (actually much longer than that) without eating.
