Nitrites & Ich

My nitrites were a bit high a few days ago (monday, took a sample to a LFS, so I dont know exact number) anyway I get home yesturday and my salmontail cat and pictus both have a mild case. Do I continue with daily 10% daily water changes for the nitrites and treat the new water, or do as stated on the medication and just do 25% change after 3 days and remedicate?

If you have to do a water change replace the right amount of med back to the water removed, good luck.

I agree with wilder although in future i would demand the actual water stats numbers from the lfs as what somone else veiws as "ok" or "not that bad" may actually be quite serious.
Knowing the exact stats will also help you figure out how much water you need to take out in water changes and how often.

Am expecting a water test master kit in the mail in the next few days so wont have to worry about someone else testing again yay
