I did Search but i couldn’t find anything that gave me a direct answer to my question.
My tank has been cycling for 2 1/2 weeks with filter media from another established tank, i asked my mate to test the levels and him and has dad both said yea it’s ready for fish like mollies and guppies. So today like you do you i went and got 4 male guppies and 2 female. Whilst i was there i picked up liquid ammonia and nitrites test kits. Came home acclimatised the fish and tested the water,
Results:
Nitrites - 0 ppm
Ammonia - 1 ppm
Will the Guppies survive with 1 ppm of ammonia or are they likely to be dead by the end of the week?
