Nitrates

Hi all
What is the effect of high nitrates on my fish? Have justed tested and nitrites, ammonia etc are all ok but nitrates are high.

Have done a water change and will continue to do small changes daily - can anyone help please?

nitrates are the end process of the cycle
ammoina to nitrites to nitrates, in an aquarium
the only way to get rid is via water changes. in a lake/pond
or river, nature takes care of nitrates, by plants etc

If you perform a 20% water change every week this should keep your nitrates down to acceptable levels
