Nitrate Is Good For Plants?

What about ammonia. Does it hurt plants? Should I put my bogwood and my little plant in right away (I'm starting the cycle later today). Or should I put it in after a cycle gets going.

Actually, ammonia is good from plants. In a very heavily planted tank, the plants use the ammonia before it is ever transformed into nitrite and nitrate. Go ahead and add them.
