I went to the local hardware store today to get some earthworms for my JD because he's not been eating lately. Here's the link about his problems... http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?showtopic=103832
But anyways, I cut some up and put them in with him and he ignored them like usual, but I came in later and found that he had eaten them, Thank god!
But I was like hmm maybe the rest of my fish would like these. So I cut them up and while I was at the hardware store I bought a pair of huge tweezers to hold the worms in the tanks and my ACF scarfed them down like he was starving, and then I cut them into tiny pieces for my little ADF, and my bettas.
Talk about a feeding frenzy, my bettas went insane for them! I've never seen happier fish! Who would have known.
Has anyone else ever fed their fish earthworms?

I feed little redlings to my discus, although some people would frown at this, colect then from the compost heap and condision them in moss for a few days.

be carefull with worms bought from bait shops as some farms spray, chemicals on them to control paricites.

I would dig my own worms. I have never tried to feed my fish worms before I have bought them frozen blood worms before. I think I will dig them some this evening. I bet my oscar would love them I dont know about the angels. I will let you all know how this turns out. I should be interseting where they have never had worms before.

My Adfs love them chopped up. My Aussy Rainbows loved them too chopped up. My African Knife Like the medium size ones whole

We buy eathworms from our local fish & reptile store and feed them to our PSG, our Puffers, our Parrot Cichlid, Curly the Geko and Boris the Frog.

Even our BBGs will attack a worm three times bigger than them and rip it apart!
